Having difficulty properly- and inexpensively – disposing of unwanted appliances, computers and electronics items?
The Rensselaer County Legislature and the Town of North Greenbush will be teaming up to sponsor an Electronics Recycling Day on Saturday, May 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event, which features ProTek Recycling Technology Solutions, will be held at the Rensselaer Technology Park on Jordan Road, just off Route 4, in North Greenbush.
A wide variety of items – computers, video game consoles, VCR, DVD and CD players, typewriters, televisions, appliances both large and small, cell phones, personal care items like hair dryers, printers, copiers, fax machines, and other items can be disposed of for free by county residents.
Past Electronics Recycling Days have been successful, and we expect a good turnout for this event. If you have questions about the event, please call the county Environmental Management Council at 270-2888.
